If you live to age 100
From this moment, you have
This moment is a beginning
Some time belongs to everyday life.
Subtract regular routines to see the time you can choose how to spend.
One square, one year. Your lifetime.
Each unfilled square is a possibility yet to unfold.
Squares show calendar age and are not changed by routine deductions.
How is time calculated?
The endpoint is midnight on your target-age birthday in your device’s local timezone. A February 29 birthday falls on February 28 in non-leap years. Displayed years use 365.2425 days; a day is 24 hours. Routine deductions are future daily averages, not a precise schedule.
What is a life countdown?
Lifetime is a free time-awareness calculator. It estimates the time between now and a birthday at an age you choose, then optionally removes the average time spent on daily routines. The default target is 100 years; this is your own assumption, not a life expectancy forecast.
The calculation
Time left = max(target birthday − current time, 0)
Available time = time left × (1 − daily deducted minutes / 1440)
Example: if 30 days remain and you subtract 8 hours of sleep per day, available time is 30 × (1 − 8 / 24) = 20 days. The target birthday stays the same.
Frequently asked questions
Does this predict when I will die?
No. The target age is an assumption you choose, initially 100 years. The calculator does not use health data or mortality statistics and does not predict actual lifespan.
Can I subtract sleep, meals or work?
Yes. Enable a preset or add a custom routine. Only future time is reduced by its average daily share. Avoid counting the same time twice; enabled routines cannot total more than 24 hours per day.
Is my birthday uploaded?
No. Birthdays, target ages and routine settings are calculated and saved in your current browser. There is no account or settings-upload API. Your hosting provider still receives normal page requests.
What do birth-decade tabs mean?
The 1990s tab means birth years 1990–1999 and appears first. Tabs also cover the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 2000s and 2010s. A new decade uses January 1 of its first year until you enter your birthday.
How are leap days and units handled?
February 29 birthdays use February 28 in non-leap target years. Years are displayed as durations of 365.2425 days; each day is 24 hours. The endpoint uses a calendar birthday, and results follow the device clock.
Will switching languages erase my settings?
No. Language pages on this site share the same browser storage. Birthdays, target ages, chosen units and routine durations are retained. Names you entered yourself are kept as you wrote them.
You do not need to fill every minute.
Just leave room for what you love.
